Dinner Play 11:06 am 02/01/2008
Here's a picture I was playing with while waiting for dinner. I had had that nose idea on my mind for days, couldn't wait to try it:

Dinner still not ready. I got a litl wilder:

Why is it that sometimes we can do things so well, yet other times we can't do that very same thing?

Why is it that sometimes when we do things real well, we can't recognize it. And we think it's no good.

You know I've been struggling lately with my tentative efforts towards solidifying the form of the human body. Yet here's one of my pictures that I found while cleaning up my end-table (Apparently I haven't cleaned that for several years).

silence.

Glad the house was quiet when I got home. Came up here and recaricatured one of the most recent pictures that I drew here:

And how about this one:

Chemistry Teacher 01:33 am 01/22/2008
My Studio Clients usually have lots of ideas about all sorts of details they want in the Picture. So instead of doing a lot of facial exaggerations, I end up working like an illustrator -
putting together all those things to tell a story. Here's one I recently did for a woman who just got her first job as a Chemistry Teacher in a High School:
